Home (Shez Riff)

This is a poem written by my father. He ascended in 2015 after fighting cancer for 5 years. Today, would have been his 70th birthday. As a tribute, I am posting this lovely poem that he wrote.

HOME

Everything is holding as a Whole

There is no outside, no inside

We did not come

And we are not going

We are home

Submitted to

One only law

One only religion

One only tradition,

Love

Dictated by

One only environment

One only country,

The Universe

I do not cross the road

To reach home

The road, already, is a part

Of my home

I do not pass people

To reach my family

People, already, are a part

Of my family

So many years of dismantling

The years
