A Poem to my Unrequited Love…

Bursting simple shallow sky

Is the fool with pumpkin pie

On face and grin ginger candy

On her tongue kissing me

Only when passion takes

Us into the cyclone chops

This unrequited aches

Why was I never your sweet tastes?

And so I grumble like cow

For money of course

Jalisco. She made me so clever

To fakes that promise you how

When all they want is your toil

To run their world for but

A petty laugh

Unrequited I may never

Sleep forever without

Your voice in my flesh.
